Me as a freshman at Evansville college in Feb 1968 with my nephew. I saved the money for the car while in the Air Force earning a whole $178 a month including combat pay while in Viet Nam my last year. Later on over the years I had a 65 air coupe and a 69 air big block coupe but in 1978 I went Vete-less for the next 22 years. I always wanted another solid axle car and in 1990 I went looking for my next and last Vette. I finally found it in Mar. of 2000 via the Internet. |
