Hard top purchased for 1989 C4 convertible – new in 1990 – on car 2 times, in storage the rest of its life.  According to page 138 of Corvette Specs by Mike Antonick, the top is made to retrofit ’86 and ’87 models. 

The data sheet found in the hardtop states:
